We recently framed a beautiful pet portrait using the actual pillow that the dog used to sleep on.
We removed the cushion and cut the fabric to mount on acid-free matboard that had been cut to the appropriate size.
An additional fabric mat was added to match the blue floral pattern, and "museum" quality glass was used to insure ultimate clarity and protection.
The customer picked a classic two-tone wood frame that went well with the dog's deep brown eyes.
What a wonderful way to immortalize a beloved pet!
We can make a mat with almost any fabric! Think of incorporating a baby outfit, a dress or a shirt, or simply fabric of your choice
into your next framing project. It doesn't have to be a top mat if it's too much or too busy (or not enough material).
Of course, we can also frame the garment itself, too!
